DETAIL-DRIVEN

Genuine and full of fun
Photographer

I am

Tricia LaCascia

I've been photographing Massachusetts and New England seniors, sports teams, headshots, events, and families for over 15 years. Sports photography taught me to work fast and find the real moment in constant motion — and I bring that same instinct to everything else I shoot, from a senior portrait to a professional headshot to a milestone celebration.

I grew up outside of Boston, the 7th of 9 children in a very large Irish family. I have wonderful memories, but only a few photographs from my childhood. My passion for photography developed both as an opportunity to memorialize special moments of my own family and integrate my love of sports. When my oldest son began playing high school football in 2010, I was hired as the varsity team’s official photographer. From that moment, I was able to share my love of capturing action, teamwork, and athleticism.

My photographs tell a story: a story of a game, the highs and lows of competition, the bonds of a team, and the soul of an individual.

So why does a former lawyer become a professional photographer? Because I love the art of photography and storytelling. I love seeing and catching action that no one else sees. I love evoking emotion from people who view my work, and I love capturing the emotion of my subjects through my lens.

Do what you love. It’s that simple.

Please contact me about the story you’d like to tell.

"To the attentive eye, each moment of the year has its own beauty, and in the same field it beholds, every hour, a picture which was never seen before, and which shall never be seen again."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

My philosophy

I believe in catching who you are

Real over posed. Relaxed over rigid. Whether it's a senior finding their footing, a team mid-season, or someone stepping in front of the camera for the first time in years — I want to capture who you actually are.
